This is a monthly class for students 13 to Adult where we learn skills passed down from previous generations, sharing these skills is invaluable for the success of future generations! Everyone has skills they can share and we all get to learn together. Think homesteading skills, food swaps, cooking/baking cultural foods, sewing/mending....the ideas are endless! The goal is that we build a community around mutual learning and growing. If you have a skill to share, please let us know!

  • Let's Make Elderberry Syrup + Fermented Lemon Honey

    Learn the basics of making elderberry syrup and Fermented Lemon Honey at home to have on hand for winter wellness. Both of these traditional recipes offer wellness support from the whole family. Made with easy to find herbs, spices and ingredients you often have in your pantry, they're packed with nutrients to support your overall wellness throughout the cold winter months. 

    *students will bring home a pint jar each of elderberry syrup and Fermented Honey and a recipe card.

  • Let's Make Bone Broth + Egg Noodles

    Join Instructor, Jessica Ankney to learn the basics of making homemade chicken bone broth and egg noodles. You'll learn how simple it is to make delicious and nutritious bone broth regularly for your family with just a few simple ingredients. Learn to make homemade noodles to add to soups or pasta dishes with just 2 simple ingredients. We'll walk through all the steps together and students will leave equipped with a jar of bone broth and a bag of freshly made noodles, as well as a recipe card to continue practicing at home.

  • Let's Make Everyday Yeast Breads - Loaf + Rolls

    Ages: 13 to Adult

    Learn the basics of yeast bread making and leave feeling confident you can make homemade bread anytime! We'll be focusing on quick recipes that can easily be made after a long day of work and enjoy immediately for dinner.  We'll be making both a sandwich loaf and dinner rolls in class.  Students will have the opportunity to taste test during class and will leave with their own pan of rolls to enjoy with their families as well as a recipe card to keep practicing at home.
